Other Voluntary Insurance Plans

CalPERS Long-Term Care Program
Long-term care is the extended care needed due to a serious accident, chronic illness or the frailties of old age.  Long-term care is provided when someone requires help with activities of daily living.  All California public employees and retirees are eligible.  This coverage is also available to siblings, spouses, parents and parents-in-law.  Newly eligible employees may purchase this plan or it may be elected during the CalPERS application period.  The premium is 100% employee paid.  For more information call (800) 925-6767 or vist the CalPERS Long-Term Care website.

Liberty Mutual Group Savings Plus Program
This is a voluntary benefit available to benefit eligible MiraCosta employees.  This program offers discounts on auto and homeowners insurance. Contact Liberty Mutual for a quote: (760) 635-1472, extension 59379 or extension 59380; reference client #110797.
