Classified Staff Development
In an effort to meet the growing need for growth and leadership training for Classified staff, the Classified Staff Development committee was formed as a subcommittee of the Classified Senate Council. The CSD committee coordinates the annual Classified Staff Development Days and 3rd Monday Workshop Series.
The Classified Staff Development Committee and the Classified Senate Council are committed to the continuation and improvement upon Classified development opportunities and welcome your suggestions for new training topics.

Staff Development Days
Staff Development Days (SDD) were reinstated in 2005 after a 25 year hiatus. The week long event offers opportunities for Classified staff to explore a variety of staff development workshops including everything from how to deal with difficult people to yoga for stress reduction. SDD has typically been offered during Spring Break.
4th Monday Workshop Series
The 4th Monday Workshop Series is intended to provide a variety of development opportunities for Classified employees throughout the year.
Join us the 4th Monday of each month (excluding semester breaks) from
1-2pm in Aztlan B. No need to register, workshops are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and can accommodate up to 50 people.
It is okay to attend workshops during work time, but please clear it with your supervisor first and make sure there is adequate coverage in your area while you attend.
