Classified Travel Funds
Current News
For the 2008-09 fiscal year - $25,000 is available for Classified staff* who require funds to travel for staff development purposes such as seminars, conferences and workshops.
Classified staff* are now eligible to receive funds of up to $400 per employee, per fiscal year. Requests will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis until the funds are exhausted.

staff* = permanent, regular, monthly (not temporary or hourly) employees. Classified Administrators/Managers are ineligible to request or receive these funds.
The Classified Travel Committee will consider and review all requests based on the following criteria:
- Job Enhancement - Is this request to enhance your current job skill set? At the request of your current supervisor?
- Career Goals - Is this request in preparation for a position change?
- Personal Growth and/or Enrichment - Is this request for personal enrichment?
Requesters will normally receive official notification regarding the status of submitted requests within 48 hours.
