Gene Kennedy, employee of AIS for 13 years, retired effective June 30th and was awarded the Gold Circle for his contributions to MiraCosta College.

Congratulations to Lori Schneider, Administrative Secretary in AIS, for being selected as Outstanding Classified Employee for Fall 2007. John Hendrickson presented Lori with a $500 check from the Governing Board for her outstanding service to the college. She also receives a reserved parking space of her choice and a plaque presented by John Hendrickson, Interim Superintendent/President.
Congratulations to Ann Quebedeaux and Karen Johnson on their election to next year's Classification Review Committee. Alternates are Barbara Magone and Melanie Seibert. Dana Ledet has been selected as Chair of CRC for the ensuing year and Lori Schneider will continue on the committee as Past Chair for one year.
- Results of Salary Agreement

The Salary Committee presented the results of their negotiations to the Classified Senate Council. The agreement was accepted by the Classified Senate Council and was forwarded to the Board for approval on June 5th. For details on the agreement, please contact Kathy Perkins, ex. 6776.
