New Classified Employee Programs
New employees have enough before them in their first few weeks and months of employment. To help better aquaint them with the MiraCosta College community and the Classified Senate, the Welcome Wagon program was developed.
Welcome Wagon
The Welcome Wagon works to give new Classified employees a better understanding of the MiraCosta College environment. Typically, new employees are visited at their worksite by members of the Classified Senate Council within one month of their start date. During this initial visit, new employees are introduced to how the Classified Senate functions on their behalf and how to get involved.
