CTE Program
Participants: Architecture and Drafting, Automotive Technology, Biotechnology, Business—Office Technology, Child Development, Computer Information Systems, Horticulture, Hospitality/Tourism/Restaurant, Nursing & Allied Health, Real Estate, Recording Technology
The OAC, working through its CTE sub-committee and in conjunction with CTE faculty, will determine the process and timeline for adopting detailed definitions and specific wording for the draft outcomes, design a process for coordinating the individual programs within the larger CTE program, and assist the individual programs in crafting mission statements and program outcomes as needed.

Outcomes
(in no particular order):
- technical skills (discipline-specific technology/technical competency/currency)
- application of discipline skills (theoretical knowledge/subject matter mastery/observations skills)
- critical thinking and problem solving (assessment skills)
- communication
- professional behavior (professional practices/ethics/teamwork)
(Participants agreed that the initial list would summarize the key ideas, but that detailed definitions and specific wording would be deferred until later.)
