Reporting Your SLOs

Complete one form per course-level SLO

 

  • For newly written SLO’s (i.e., not yet assessed), complete fields A, B, C, and D. See below for instructions for completing field D.
  • For SLO’s that have been assessed (i.e., assessment data gathered), but not yet evaluated, complete fields A, B, C, and D. See below for instructions for completing field D.
  • For SLO’s that have been assessed and evaluated, complete fields A-G. See below for instructions for completing field D.

 

Field B: For courses that do not fit neatly into either GE or CTE (including noncredit), identify the GE or CTE outcome(s), listed on the reporting form, that the SLO most closely aligns with. 

Field D: Some disciplines have professional organizations that have established expected levels of success.  These can be used for field D.  You may establish expectations drawing on your experience.  You may choose to complete one or more assessment cycles for the SLO to establish baseline data.  If you select this last option, indicate in field D that you will establish a baseline after gathering assessment data.
