The co-founder of Survivors will tell us about the large and invisible population of torture survivors living in San Diego County, the effects of torture on survivors and their families, and rehabilitation resources.

Courteous service, china and silverware, and real food on airliners seem only memories now. Members of the San Diego Chapter of Clipped Wings, former flight attendants, will share some of their experiences in the air.

Documentary by the National Press Club
Join us for this retrospective on 100 years of American journalism as seen by members of the National Press Club of Washington, D.C. The role of women in the media is emphasized, and well-known print and TV journalists are featured. A discussion of free press issues will include press bias and confidential sources. Special treats for this end-of-quarter social will be served at break time.
