Music 104 (Musicianship II) is taught both in classroom meetings as well as online as well as online utilizing MiraCosta's online management system called CANVAS.

You log into Canvas with your student SURF ID and password. The online course will include listening quizzes that will cover a broad range of subjects (listed below) with one to six questions per test; therefore, a module/lesson may have several listening quizzes.  Each module/lesson will have designated deadlines to complete each week—please do not miss them—tests cannot be made up.  In Module 17 at the very end of the course, there are ample non-graded practice tests which one can use in preparation for the graded tests in their respective modules.

Please email me at if you have any questions regarding the course.
