This course introduces data analysis. Topics include data collection, descriptive statistics, probability, sampling, estimation, significance testing, and correlation and regression. Students use appropriate technology to analyze real-world data. UC CREDIT LIMITATION: Credit for BUS 204, MATH 103, PSYC 104/SOC 104, PSYC 104H/SOC 104H, or BIO 180/BTEC 180. Some CSU campuses may also impose this credit limitation.

Instructor notes: This course will be taught through Blackboard. Go to and log in using your SURF log in and password. Then go to section 2561. There will be five required proctored two-hour tests in the college's Academic Proctoring Center. (You will not be permitted to take tests at any other, off-campus, sites.) Each test will have a testing window of at least four days. More course details, including the dates of the testing windows, will be available on Blackboard to enrolled students before the first day of the class. This course is classified as hybrid, not online, because it requires proctored tests on campus. Instruction will be online.
