History
The study of history is the endeavor to understand the present by becoming knowledgeable about the past. History is the context of all human activity, and gives students the depth needed to understand society and their place in it. Students may take courses to prepare for a major in history or to fulfill general education requirements.
Career options include business administration, law, teaching, social services, journalism, finance, law enforcement, public relations, advertising, and government service.
