About the Language Resource Center

The Oceanside Lab is located in room 4701, (760) 757-2121 x6442 and the San Elijo Lab is located in room 508, (760) 757-2121 x7721.

The OC and SEC Laboratories will be closed on the following dates:
September 1st (Labor Day), November 10th (Veterans Day) and November 27-29 (Thanksgiving).

Credit by Exam Information and Procedures:

• After you have paid for the exam, please contact Prof. Lilia Vidal by e-mail at: lvidal@miracosta.edu to set-up a time to meet.

• At the time of the meeting, you need to:

  1. turn in the white Credit by Exam Form given to you by Admissions
     
  2. complete the oral assessment part of the exam
     
  3. receive the information that the written part of the exam will cover

• The Test will be available at the Proctoring Center after October 13, 2008. However, you will not be able to access the exam unless you contact Professor Vidal first. Click here for the Proctoring Center information and hours. Students must make an appointment to take a computer exam and allow 2 hours for completion of the test..
  
• Students who fail to take the Credit By Exam test in the prescribed semester will receive an "F".
