It is easy to find books and other materials by:

1. Searching in the MiraCosta Library Catalog.  Get help with catalog searches.

2.Choose the type of search you want (author, title, series, series, periodical title or everything) and enter your keywords

3. Write down the call number for the book and its location (San Elijo or Oceanside)

4. Go to the San Elijo or Oceanside Campus library to retrieve the book

5. Can't find it on the shelf? Ask for help at the Circulation Desk 

6. Can't find what you want in our catalog?  Contact a MiraCosta Librarian or try another library!

E-Books

The MiraCosta Library Catalog also searches our E-Book resources.

E-Books are online, full-text versions of printed materials available through netLibrary. 

Virtual Reference Library

ThomsonGale Virtual Reference Library is a database of encyclopedias and specialized reference sources for multidisciplinary research. VRL includes the complete electronic full text of over 230 reference titles.
