About the Microsoft Office User Specialist (M.O.U.S.) Program
 MiraCosta College is proud to be a partner with Microsoft in offering the Microsoft Office Specialist program. This program is a training and certification program designed to provide students with the skills they need to effectively use Microsoft Office applications. The Specialist program offers courses and exams for the various Office 2003 programs, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook. In addition to validating your knowledge and proficiency, the program gives you a competitive edge in the job market. Certification exams for programs in the Microsoft Office 2003 suites are available at the MiraCosta Authorized Testing Center on the Oceanside campus.
