About Tech Prep
Tech Prep identifies high school courses comparable to MiraCosta College courses and creates articulation agreements between them. These agreements allow a student who receives a B or better in a Tech Prep course at their high school to earn college credit at MiraCosta without paying any tuition or fees. Students complete a MiraCosta College application while in their high school class. The application is necessary for receiving their college credit. Credit will be applied to the students' MiraCosta College transcript one semester after the student has finished the high school course.
