Bill Williamson, Manager, North County Times
"Democracy without education is hypocrisy without limitation" (Thomas Jefferson) is one of Bill’s favorite quotes. Bill worked in the newspaper business in the Midwest for 10 years before coming to California. He has been with the North County Times and its predecessor, the Blade-Citizen, for nearly 18 years. He enthusiastically supports scholarship efforts at MiraCosta as he has seen the impact of these donations with many students over the years at the “Medal of Honor” ceremony. Bill was raised in Kansas City, Missouri and graduated with a degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. He currently serves on the Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors in Oceanside, and previously served five years on the board with the Boys & Girls Club of Vista. Bill and his wife Debbie reside in Oceanside .
