Gary S. Hill, Community Development Director, Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
As a former community college graduate, Gary knows how important local outreach is to students. The former video producer and facilities director now oversees community development at the GIA. His understanding of visual communication has given him a deep appreciation of MiraCosta College’s theatre program. He and his wife Denise, a retired Registered Nurse, have a daughter who graduated from MiraCosta and a son who graduated from another local community college.
