Dr. Hugh La Bounty, President Emeritus, Cal Poly Pomona (Retired)
Vice President
Dr. La Bounty served for 38 years as a teacher and administrator at Cal Poly Pomona and volunteered as a senior university consultant to Cal State San Marcos, assisting in the building of both the new campus library and field house. He also helped form the Oceanside Economic Development Commission and chaired the El Corazon Planning Committee. Besides serving on the MiraCosta Foundation board of directors, he also serves on the Tri-City Hospital Foundation board. He and his wife, Dr. Judy La Bounty, make their home in Oceanside.
