Linda Fogerson, Executive Director of Development and College Foundation
Secretary
Linda has been raising funds for higher education since 1989. She has been a driving force behind increasing donations to three different colleges: MiraCosta, CSU, San Marcos and the UC, San Diego - raising millions for college students and faculty. “It’s a field in which I am able to combine my communications, organizational, and entrepreneurial skills with my passion for education,” she notes. Her experiences living in Italy, France and North Africa also helped to develop an appreciation for different views of the world’s inhabitants. Linda started her career as a newspaper reporter, which was followed by a stint as a press secretary to a California Assemblywoman. She is married to Dave and has two children Eric, 15, and Mark, 14.
