Ron Mitchell, CPA, Partner, AKT Certified Public Accountants
Giving back is the main reason for Ron’s involvement with MiraCosta College. He is grateful to former MCC baseball coach John Seeley who helped him enter a four year college. His parents, himself and two of his children all attended MiraCosta College. He has been a CPA for 27 years and graduated from Linfield College in McMinnville, Oregon with an Accounting Concentration from Oregon State University. He became an accountant to help people achieve their goals because “other than their physician, we are our clients most trusted advisors,” he observed. A native of North San Diego County, Ron located his firm in Carlsbad to keep close to is family roots. He and his wife make their home in Vista and have seven children and two grandchildren.
