BIOGRAPHY OF GUEST SPEAKER,
JEFF MCKINNEY
Special Agent Jeff McKinney served as Captain USAF (Intelligence Officer), and was a Criminal Justice Instructor at Mississippi County Community College. He has been with the FBI for over 20 years including 15+ years in San Diego and 5 years in Utah investigating Violent Crime, Securities Fraud, White Collar/Corporate Crime, and Cyber Crime.
He currently serves as Negotiation Coordinator for FBI San Diego's Crisis Team and San Diego Division's Training Coordinator. He is certified as FBI Master Police Instructor (currently teaching Hostage Negotiations, Interview and Interrogation, and Source Development); served 5 years as Supervisory Special Agent for Cyber Crime Squad, and was part of a team that started and was assigned to the FBI's
North County Resident Agency, located in Carlsbad.
His case accomplishments in San Diego include the NAMBLA UCO, Operation Bullpen Sports Memorablia Fraud UCO, Operation Digital Torrent Intl Computer Intrusion UCO, Operation D-Elite Intellectual Properties UCO, Pinnfund, and the GreatAmerican Bank failure investigation.
McKinney has an MA from Arkansas State University in Political Science, a BS from SDSU in Criminal Justice, and is a graduate of
the Kellogg School of Business Leadership Course.
