About The MiraCosta College Board of Trustees

The seven elected members of the MiraCosta College Board of Trustees each represent and must reside in a specific area of the college district. The term of office is four years, and members are elected at-large by the entire college district. The MiraCosta College district includes the communities of Oceanside, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Cardiff, Olivenhain, Leucadia, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe, Del Mar, and parts of Carmel Valley. A student trustee elected by the student body also sits on the Board of Trustees.
