Help Save the Children Campaign Hosted by MiraCosta College

Join students from MiraCosta College and the local community as they work to bring attention to the plight of children in Northern Uganda and raise funds for the Schools to Schools Campaign. The Help Stop a War in Uganda Campaign will be held on Thursday, November 15, at 7 p.m. in the Little Theater (Room 3601) at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. The event will include a screening of the film, “Invisible Children Rough Cut,” which features the story of three local students whose curiosity inspired them to travel to Africa, and whose sense of humanity has compelled them to organize a nationwide student movement. There will be a silent auction of unique gift baskets. Invisible Children t-shirts, bracelets, videos and craft items will also be available for sale. Admission is free.
