MiraCosta Theatre Spotlight Circle Hosts Holiday Wine Tasting Event

Help raise money for scholarships for MiraCosta drama students while sampling a variety of festive and affordable wines along with an array of appetizers and desserts! On Friday, December 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m., the MiraCosta Theatre Spotlight Circle will host a special Holiday Wine Tasting event in the foyer of the library at MiraCosta's Oceanside Campus, 1 Barnard Drive. Besides the tastings, the event will also include experts from the North County Wine Company who will talk us through the selected wines and make recommendations for pairing of wines with traditional holiday meals.  Non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Entertainment for the evening will be provided by talented drama students who will offer beautiful carols sung in four part harmony along with a few scenes from their "Best of the Semester" showcase.  The event will wrap up in time to take a short stroll across the campus to the Little Theatre to enjoy the entire student showcase.  (Admission to the performance is free.)

Tickets for this special holiday event are just $30 per person if paid by November 30 and $35 per person after that date.  All proceeds from this event and the evening's raffle prize drawings will go to fund spring semester Merit Awards (financial assistance given to dedicated drama students in recognition of their contributions and activity in the Theatre Program).  The MiraCosta Theatre Spotlight Circle is a part of the MiraCosta College Foundation (a 501-c-3 non profit organization).
