Free International Film Series at MiraCosta College
MiraCosta continues its popular International Film Series this semester with screenings of six films from around the world. There will be two screenings of each film: Fridays at 1 p.m. in Room 204 of the San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff, and Fridays at 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre, Room 3601, at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside. All films are presented in the original language with English subtitles. Admission is free.
The following films will be shown in February:
February 8: “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” (Taiwan, 2000)
An epic set against the breathtaking landscapes of ancient China that combines exhilarating martial arts choreography with sensitive, classical storytelling. Directed by Ang Lee. Rated PG-13.
February 22: “He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not” (France, 2002)
Audrey Tautou plays a winsome girl in the sunny town of Bordeaux whose relationship with a married doctor has many layers. Directed by Laetitia Colombani. Rated PG-13.
