Free International Films This April at MiraCosta College

MiraCosta continues its popular International Film Series this April with screenings of two comedic films:

April 11: “The Last Kiss” (Italy 2001), a romantic comedy about life, love, infidelity, forgiveness, marriage, friendship and growing up. Rated R.

April 25: “Hula Girls” (Japan 2006), a heartwarming comedy about coal miners’ daughters who take a once-in-a-lifetime chance to escape their monotonous lives, only to become unwitting heroes to their depressed mining town as well as the whole of Japan. Not rated.

There will be two showings of each film: 1 p.m. in Room 204 of the San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff; and 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre, Room 3601, at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside.  Each film will be presented in its original language with English subtitles.
