MiraCosta College Vocal Jazz Concert - "Off to Costa Rica"

MiraCosta College’s vocal jazz ensemble, “Frequency,” is scheduled to present two concerts in preparation for their upcoming spring tour of Costa Rica. “Off to Costa Rica” is scheduled for Thursday, May 8 and Friday, May 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the MiraCosta College Theatre, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside. “Frequency” consists of eight women and eight men who perform high-energy classic and contemporary vocal jazz repertoire. Student vocalists will perform as an ensemble and as soloists. “Frequency” director Matt Falker is a full-time music instructor at MiraCosta College and also teaches piano, music fundamentals, and jazz history classes.
