Free International Film This May at MiraCosta College

MiraCosta concludes its popular International Film Series this May with “Volver” (Spain, 2006), scheduled for May 9. “Volver” is the heartfelt but humorous story of a mother who returns to her home town after death in order to fix the situations she couldn’t resolve during her life. Directed by Pedro Almodóvar. The film is rated R, and will be presented in Spanish with English subtitles.

There will be two showings of the film: 1 p.m. in Room 204 of the San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Ave., Cardiff; and 7 p.m. in the Little Theatre, Room 3601, at MiraCosta College, 1 Barnard Dr., Oceanside.
