MiraCosta College to Host Stargazing Parties

Have you ever looked through a real telescope? Are you interested in learning more about the stars and planets? Do you want to see Saturn or Jupiter or watch a shooting star? Then MiraCosta’s astronomy program’s fall 2009 star parties are for you!

MiraCosta’s stargazing parties will take place 8-10 p.m. on the first Friday and Saturday of the month (October 2 & 3; November 6 & 7; December 4 & 5.) The viewing will take place at the MiraCosta baseball field, weather permitting. The campus is located at 1 Barnard Drive in Oceanside.
