Student Ambassador Program
Welcome to the 2008-2009 Student Ambassador's Web site. Here you can find information on who we are and what we do. Do you like working with young people? Do you know a lot about MiraCosta? You should be a Student Ambassador! We are located in the Student Center in the Student Activities and School Relations/Diversity Outreach Office on the Oceanside campus.
Student Ambassadors visit local schools, meet with interested students, and provide information. We get students excited about coming to MiraCosta and can give them first-hand information since we are students too. We help students apply to the college and enroll into classes. We are also all about diversity since we are all different ages and ethnicities. We help promote diversity at MiraCosta.

Current Ambassadors
2008-2009 Student Ambassadors are great! They went through a week of intense on-campus training with several college staff members, followed by a team-building retreat in Idyllwild. Each Ambassador has been assigned to one of our district high schools, and is enjoying getting to know prospective MiraCosta students and high school personnel.
