Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education (CARE)
CARE, Cooperative Agencies Resources for Education, is a program offered through EOPS. The primary goal of C.A.R.E. is to provide single parents receiving TANF, additional support and services to attend college and obtain a degree and/or marketable job skills.
Who is eligible for CARE?
To qualify for CARE, students must initially meet criteria for EOPS. Students must also:
- Be a current recipient of TANF
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be single, head of household
- Have at least one child under the age if 14 years of age
- Be enrolled full-time (12 units) at MiraCosta College
- Be EOPS eligible
