EOPS Summer Block
The EOPS Summer Block is a summer transition program designed to prepare first-time college students for the demands of college-level work.
Summer Block is a six-week summer program that begins in June during the regular summer school schedule and runs Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Students in the EOPS Summer Block will get a head start on their college experience, begin the fall semester on track with their educational plan and develop college success skills.
EOPS Summer Block students will be enrolled in two classes and will work one-on-one with an EOPS counselor to complete an educational plan.
Summer Block participants will receive a book voucher for textbooks, participate in a field trip and receive a stipend.
To participate in Summer Block, you must be eligible for EOPS and be a first-time college student. Please contact the EOPS office at (760) 795-6680 or complete the online information request form.
