- The Center for Career Studies and Services will help you gain practical experience through internships, work experience, and career-enhancement workshops.
- Short-term certificates will provide practical job training in one or two years.
At MiraCosta you can choose to work toward a two-year associate degree in dozens of majors, equivalent to the first two years of a bachelor's programthen transfer to a four-year school to complete your bachelor's degree. Extra academic challenges are available through the college's Honors Scholar Program.
MiraCosta offers dozens of certificate programs for students interested in short-term training in a specific fieldideal if you want to develop workforce skills or enhance your educational training. Off-campus career training is possible through MiraCosta's Occupational Work Experience and Internship programs.
