Service Learning is one of the project choices for the course. Students are to spend a minimum of 10 hours at a site and do one of two things: a.) work directly with a teacher or director in an established parent program or b.) work directly with a teacher or director creating a project that fosters parent/teacher relations.
Students will gain skills in time management, experiencing an established program that supports the parent/teacher relationship or utilize class knowledge to create a new program or service that supports parent/teacher relationships.
