Title of Course: Concepts and Structures of Elementary Mathematics I

Service Learning Assignment:

Mandatory assignment, 8hrs in a grade 3-6 classroom in a public school during math instruction.  Also, a journal of activities and a 2 page reflection paper.

Learning Objectives for Service Assignment:

Students should be able to see how the learning from the college classroom applies to an actual elementary classroom.  Students will get the opportunity to evaluate the methods of an experienced teacher.
