University Representatives: Advising appointments with representatives from UCSD and CSU San Marcos visit the Oceanside and San Elijo campuses each semester.
Admission Application Workshops: The University Transfer Center offers over 20 application workshops in the fall to assist students in filling out UC and CSU applications.
Transfer Admission Guarantee Programs: Guaranteed admission programs are available to UC Davis, UC Irvine, UC Merced, UC Riverside, UC San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz. In addition, a preferred admission program is in place for UCLA*. (* The UCLA program is for MiraCosta Honors Scholar students only).

Consult the Honors Scholar Program counselor in the University Transfer Center for details.
Transfer Forums: Specific up-to-date information is provided about popular majors at local four-year universities. Instructors from SDSU and CSUSM present workshops detailing information about their major.

Cross-Enrollment Programs: Allows students to enroll for one course each semester at a CSU or each quarter at a UC campus without paying tuition or fees (a nominal charge is paid for processing).
