AOL and SURF
Using America Online's (AOL) browser may create difficulties in SURF. It is highly recommended that a different Internet browser be used to access SURF. Microsoft provides details about this within their article How to Configure Internet Explorer to Work with AOL as Your ISP.
- If Internet Explorer is not already installed on the computer, download it and install it.
- Launch and login to AOL. When the AOL main menu appears, minimize this application (click Minimize in the upper right corner of the browser. This will keep AOL running "in the background' on the computer.
- Launch Internet Explorer and proceed to SURF (https://surf.miracosta.edu).
