Important Information for Students
The Media Art Technology (MAT) Server a.k.a IMT Server provides storage for specific MAT classes. Remote access is provided via the use of an Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) client.
Instructors are provided with class folders, including digital homework drop boxes and space where lectures and other materials can be uploaded and be made accessible to students. These folders are located on a web server and can be tested on the internet. Please see the knowledge base for information on how to test web pages.
Students are provided with home folders where it is acceptable to store works in progress. The data is deleted at the end of each semester. These folders are not on a web server and cannot be tested using the internet. It is strictly for back up and for works in progress for the class.
