Using the Discussion Board

After logging into Blackboard, under My courses section click on your class link to enter your online class.
On the left menu click on the Discussion Board button.
Select the desire Forum
Select the desire discussion Topic you wish to participate.
Read the Topic Message; then you can either respond to it or create a new Thread if applicable. You have the option to respond to any student.
To reply to a topic with a new thread, click the +Thread button located on the top toolbar just above the topic.
To reply to another student's comments, press the Reply button located on the far right side, top or bottom of the message.
Finally, click the Submit button to publish your message.
Note: if you click the Save button, the message has not been published. The message is saved in the discussion board as a draft so you can edit it later.
