The Buy a Book program is designed to provide a remembrance for an employee or for an employee who has a member of his or her immediate family pass away. (Immediate family is defined as spouse, parents, children, siblings, including step relations.) A donation is made by the Classified Senate Council to the Library Information Hub for the purchase of a book, the subject matter specific to the individual who passed away, with an inserted bookplate remembering that individual. The secretary for the Classified Senate Council is responsible for processing Buy a Book materials.
