Methods of Instruction

This course will be taught online with use of the above textbook. An online access code will be given to students so that they may access the MiraCosta Blackboard site. While learning medical terminology from your text, it will be important to use an inexpensive medical dictionary to reinforce your learning.

An on-line course means that the student must be extremely self-motivated and independent in his or her learning. Since there is no class or classroom to attend, each participant must pay particular attention to time management and minimize procrastination in handling assignments.
