I joined the MiraCosta family in 1998, as a temporary Campus Aide for Campus Police and received my P.O.S.T. certification in Dispatching a short while later. In 2000, I took a permanent position at the Community Learning Center as a NonCredit Student and Faculty Support Assistant and am currently working in Instructional Services as an Administrative Secretary to the Dean of Math and Sciences.

I have had the pleasure of serving on the MiraCosta College Classified Senate Council as a Senator, Vice President, President and Immediate Past President. The experience has been incredible, allowing me to gain some new skills and meet so many of the wonderful people that work at MiraCosta.

I am a proud MiraCosta alum, earning an A.A. in Economics in 1998 and an A.A. in Dance in 2007. I continued my education at UCSD, where I received a B.A. in Economics in 2002. After a short "vacation" from school, I returned to earn an M.A. in Education, more specifically Postsecondary Educational Leadership with an emphasis in Student Affairs, from SDSU in 2005. Discovering a love for web and graphic design, I began taking course work to complete the Graphic Design, Web Development and Design, Print Publishing and Web Design certificates here at MiraCosta.

When I'm not working, I enjoy traveling and dancing, especially Salsa and Argentine Tango with my husband. I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, parts of Mexico, the Carribbean and Australia. Places I'd like to visit before I die - Argentina, Belize, Egypt and New York.
