First I scanned all the images at 300dpi. Then I cropped each one and
corrected the color levels and contrast to make them a bit clearer and
lighter. Then I fixed up the background image by removing the boies and
boats in the water to make it look nicer by using the clone stamp. Then
I added the main text, “Come to Cabo San Lucas to enjoy…”
and I added a text style. I gave the text a drop shadow because I think
it looks nice, and I also added an color overlay. I used the color matcher
tool to match the peachish color on the balcony. Then I added each additional
image one by one. The snorkeling picture has an opacity of 75%. I added
the rectangular blue shape with an opacity of 60% to put the text “snorkeling”
over; opacity 85%. Then I added the jet skiing image, gave it an opacity
of 75% and lined it up so it kind of looks like the picture of the jet
ski is in the water, and you can see the mountain through it. I thought
I looked kind of neat. I added the text “jet skiing…”
opacity 80%. Then I added the picture of me and my friend at the pool,
I wanted to keep this one pretty solid so the opacity is at 95%. Then
I added the white rectangular shape so you can read the text better over
it; opacity 75%. Added the text “or just relaxing by the pool sipping
Mai Tai’s”, I gave this text a bevel and emboss style. Then
I added another white rectangular shape to put the text “call now
for reservations etc…” and made the text black to make it
sort of stand out. |
