You will do this assignment on your own, outside of class. Bring the completed assignment to your lab next week when it will be turned in. You will need to go online and using one of the many search engines (Yahoo, Google, etc.) look up information for the items listed below.

First: The first thing you will need to do is to find something about either HIV (human immunodeficiency virus) or Adenovirus. Include a page which shows a model for one of these viruses and a page describing this virus. (Do not include more than a single page model and a single page description.) If there is more than one page describing your virus, print only one page (and only one page) to turn in.

Second: The second part of this assignment is to select any four of the topics listed below for this exercise. After you find information pertaining to the topic of choice, print a 1-page description (the first page is sufficient for longer articles) for each of the four topics you selected. Include only one page for each topic selected.

Third: In your own words put together a 2-3 sentence summary for each of the four topics you selected. This summary must be in your own words and included as a separate page to be turned in.

Staple everything together. Your packet you turn in will include each of the following:

• This page (with your name on it) will be the coversheet.
• Then, including the pages containing the HIV or Adenovirus information (model and description), followed by each of the four topics you chose.
• Finally attach your summary sheet for the four topics you made a one-page copy for.

Turn in this exercise on Monday, December 1, 2008 at the beginning of the class.
