Dean Gilbert Hermosillo’s
Guide to Student Loans

Incurring loan idebtedness while attending a community college is not recommended. There are many responsibilities that come with the taking out of a student loan. If you default (do not make your payments on time) on your loan you might earn yourself a bad credit rating, your employer may be asked to deduct the payments from your wages, or even worse. Make sure you are responsible in repayment of your loan.

There are many kinds of loans and many factors that determine how much money you are able to obtain.

The following web page is the Student Guide from the U.S. Department of education on student loans: http://www.ed.gov/prog_info/SFA/StudentGuide/

EdFund is a financial planning site for students, it also has helpful information regarding existing loans.
