Jane Albo is a part time faculty member of the MiraCosta College Hospitality Department. She is currently instructing Restaurant Management and Culinary Arts Basics. Previously, Jane taught at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California.
Jane's back of the house experience includes: Sous Chef,
Line Chef and Prep Chef. Her front of the house experience includes: Food
and Beverage Director, Director of Banquets and Sales, Food Consultant, Event
Coordinator and Manager of Production and Menu Development. She has
worked in Colorado, California, Hawaii, Canada and Germany.
Jane strives to make her classes an enjoyable learning
experience for her students. Her recipe for teaching is a
combination of culinary information, combined with a variety of past
experiences, and topped off with a sense of humor.
