BUSINESS OFFICE TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM
Students are encouraged to research the benefits of joining the professional organization of their career field. Mira Costa College and the Business Office Technology Program are associate members of two professional organizations: IAAP and AAMT (see link to websites below).
Kathy Striebel is the president of the Palomar Chapter of IAAP for the 2006-2007 year. Please see the chapter link (www.iaap-palomar.org) for a list of monthly meetings, workshops, and special events sponsored by the chapter. Students can benefit by networking with working professionals to arrange job shadowing and mentoring opportunities.
Please contact Kathy at kstriebel@miracosta.edu if you are interested in attending an IAAP or AAMT meeting.
