Good for when each slide has own audio.
Must do twice if two different-sized versions.
Advantage: no need for extensive time coding.
Combining audio and visual:
Open sound (.aiff) file
Open visual file. Select All. Copy.
Go to sound file, Add Scaled.
Adding subtitle:
In Word, document with slide's script:

Save as Text Only.
In Quicktime, Import this file. Select All. Copy.
Go to audio/visual slide, Add Scaled.
Open Movie Properties, drop down to Text Track.Size -> Adjust
Drag subtitle below the slide.
Then assemble slides.
