Marti Essman

I am originally from New Jersey where I obtained my nursing degree. My husband
and I moved to California in 1979. I have worked as a critical care nurse
for 20 years in New Jersey and at Sharp Hospital in San Diego, where I still
work when I'm not teaching.

I always wanted to be a teacher or a nurse growing up--now I get to do both!!

I am married and have 2 children
I love to run, hike, swim, camp almost anything outdoors.
