Community Learning Center Community Room Multimedia Presentation System
The Community Room at MCC's Community Learning Center was equipped with a ceiling-mounted LCD projector controlled by an SP Controls SmartPanel in the fall of 2000.
The SmartPanel is a modular devide housed in a low-profile wall cabinet. The default features include projector power on/off, volume control of audio fed through the room's sound system and input selection of up to four signal sources. The system as installed allows connection of external computers through either a VGA of RGBHV module, both with audio follow. Connection of an external composite video source and audio is also provided. Also, the cabinet includes a local VHS VCR with a cable TV tuner.
System programming and control cabling was handled by MCSI of San Diego.
